A gynecology exam is a fundamental part of a women’s health and is valuable in promoting prevention practices, recognizing risk factors and identifying medical problems. Our GYN exams consist of a thorough screening, evaluation and patient counseling, based on age and risk factors. An annual visit provides an excellent opportunity for Dr. Anne to counsel patients about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, aging optimally and attending our best sexual health. In general, our GYN exams consist of standard vital  signs, determining body mass index, palpating the abdomen and inguinal lymph nodes, making assessment of the patient’s overall health and typically include a pelvic examination, possible pap smear, as well as a breast exam.
